Ayika collects only data necessary to deliver personalized scheduling insights:

We do not collect clinical health data, diagnosis, or biometrics.

We process your data under the following bases:

• Consent (Art. 6 & 9 GDPR): For cycle and energy-related data.
• Contractual Necessity: To deliver core app functionality.
• Legitimate Interest: To maintain and secure the Service.

We use your information to:

• Generate Ayika Scores for events
• Suggest alternative scheduling windows
• Create private calendar events (e.g., period reminders)
• Improve algorithms and user experience through aggregated analytics

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or third parties.

Ayika uses automated models to generate event recommendations. These processes have no legal or significant personal effects.

• All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
• Calendar access is handled securely via OAuth — your credentials are never stored on our servers.
• Only minimal necessary data is retained for app functionality.

If data is processed outside your country (e.g., on servers in the U.S.), Ayika relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent legal safeguards to ensure protection.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service. When you disconnect Ayika, your identifiable data is deleted within 30 days. Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained for analytics.

Ayika integrates with:

• Google Calendar API
• Microsoft Outlook Calendar API

These providers handle authentication and maintain their own privacy policies. Ayika never has direct access to your login credentials.

Ayika does not knowingly collect data from users under 16. If we learn a user is under 16, we will delete their data immediately.

Ayika provides lifestyle insights only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and should not be relied on as medical advice.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Updates take effect upon publication. Continued use of Ayika indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
