Rather than filling your calendar with medical or biological terminology, Ayika uses five productivity-focused modes that correspond to different phases of the menstrual cycle.

The goal is simple: to help you understand your energy, plan more intentionally, and work with your body rather than against it.

Why Two Names?

Ayika uses productivity-focused mode names to make cycle awareness easier to integrate into everyday life and work.

Each Ayika Mode corresponds to a biological phase of the menstrual cycle, helping you connect what's happening in your body with how you plan your time, energy, and commitments.

Think of the modes as energy signals, not rules.

You don't need to follow them perfectly. They are simply prompts to help you make more informed decisions about your workload, meetings, and priorities.


🌀 Ayika Reset | Menstruation

Theme: Rest, recovery, reflection

This mode typically aligns with your menstrual phase (your period).

Many women experience lower energy, a greater need for rest, and a desire to slow down during this phase. While society often encourages us to keep pushing, this can be a valuable time for reflection, planning, and creating space.

Best suited for:

  • Planning and reflection

  • Administration

  • Journaling

  • Learning and research

  • Gentle movement

  • Reviewing priorities

Consider protecting time from:

  • Overloaded schedules

  • Back-to-back meetings

  • Unnecessary pressure

Ask yourself:
"What can I simplify this week?"


🌱 Ayika Create | Follicular Phase

Theme: Ideas, growth, momentum

This mode typically aligns with the follicular phase, which begins after your period.

As hormone levels begin to rise, many women experience increased energy, optimism, curiosity, and creativity. This is often a great time to explore new ideas and start new projects.

Best suited for:

  • Brainstorming

  • Strategic thinking

  • Project planning

  • Learning new skills

  • Creative work

  • Problem solving

Consider using this time for:

  • Innovation

  • Experimentation

  • Goal setting

  • Building momentum

Ask yourself:
"What do I want to create next?"


✨ Ayika Show | Ovulation

Theme: Visibility, influence, connection

This mode typically aligns with ovulation.

Many women report feeling more confident, communicative, energetic, and socially engaged during this phase. It can be an excellent time for visibility, collaboration, and activities that require you to be seen and heard.

Best suited for:

  • Presentations

  • Workshops

  • Networking

  • Interviews

  • Sales conversations

  • Team meetings

  • Important stakeholder discussions

Consider scheduling:

  • High-visibility activities

  • Collaborative work

  • Public speaking

  • Relationship building

Ask yourself:
"Where do I need to be seen or heard?"


🎯 Ayika Focus | Early Luteal Phase

Theme: Execution, productivity, delivery

This mode typically aligns with the first part of the luteal phase.

Energy can still be strong, but often becomes more focused and task-oriented. Many women find it easier to concentrate, organise, and follow through during this stage.

Best suited for:

  • Deep work

  • Project delivery

  • Writing

  • Analysis

  • Operational work

  • Task completion

Consider using this time for:

  • Finishing projects

  • Tackling complex work

  • Building consistency

  • Delivering results

Ask yourself:
"What needs to get done?"


🌙 Ayika Rest | Late Luteal Phase

Theme: Completion, boundaries, restoration

This mode typically aligns with the later part of the luteal phase, just before your next period begins.

Many women notice a stronger desire to slow down, turn inward, and conserve energy during this phase. It can also be a powerful time for reviewing, editing, refining, and preparing for a new cycle.

Best suited for:

  • Wrapping up projects

  • Reviewing work

  • Editing and refining

  • Planning ahead

  • Boundary setting

  • Recovery and self-care

Consider reducing:

  • Unnecessary commitments

  • Additional workload

  • Energy-draining activities

This may be a good time to:

  • Schedule fewer meetings

  • Build in recovery time

  • Complete outstanding tasks

  • Prepare for your upcoming Reset phase

A Note on Flexibility

Every woman is different.

Your cycle may not look exactly like the descriptions above, and your energy may vary from month to month.

Ayika is not designed to tell you what you can or cannot do. It simply provides guidance that helps you work with your natural rhythms rather than against them.

Some of your best presentations may happen during Reset.

Some of your most creative ideas may arrive during Rest.

That's completely normal.

Use Ayika as a guide, not a rulebook.
